Are you a tech-savvy System Administrator with a passion for Windows environments and a desire for travel & adventure? Join this dynamic team at a leading service industry company! This role is tailor-made for those with MSP backgrounds, ready to bring their technical prowess on the road.


About the role

This role will focus on both project and BAU activities which includes a national hardware refresh project and Meraki upgrade project. The role will also support the on-boarding of organisations that have recently been acquired as part of their national expansion strategy. Over the next twelve months you can expect to travel up to 26 weeks within a 52 week period (covered by the organisation)


Key Technical Responsibilities:

Windows Server Administration

  • Configure and maintain Windows Server systems, ensuring high availability.
  • Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Hardware and Networking Refresh

  • Manage installation, configuration, and upgrades of Meraki products.
  • Strong understanding of Networking and Infrastructure hardware.

Security and Monitoring:

  • Implement security measures using Intune for MDM.
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.

System Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate system documentation, including network diagrams.
  • Generate reports on system performance, availability, and security.

Travel Component

This role involves significant regional and national travel (up to 26 weeks within a 52-week period). Ideal for those with MSP backgrounds, you'll play a crucial role in national expansion projects.

Required Technical Skills

  • Proven MSP experience as a System Administrator.
  • Extensive knowledge of Intune, Meraki, and Windows Server environments.
  • Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
