Job description
This organisation in the government sector is currently working on several projects in terms of rebuilding their systems and related business processes and applications, focused on addressing security and resilience risks. As a result of an increased pipeline of projects, an opportunity for a Technical Lead to join their team has become available.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 5+ years' experience as an ICT Technical Lead on Projects.
- Application, Data and Databases, Integration, DevOps, Security, Network/Firewall, Infrastructure, Server Migration, Desktop and Architecture experience across the full system lifecycle including system discovery analysis, design, implementation and decommissioning.
- Experience working with Linux.
- Experience working across multiple work packages at once, managing the expectations of multiple PMs,dealing with competing priorities.
- Previous experience working across divergent stakeholder groups including Information Communication Technology (ICT) operations, business application owners and technical teams.
- Experience on transformation/remediation projects upgrading, replatform, quarantine, migrating,development or decommissioning of business applications.
- High level written and oral communication skills and excellent organisational skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a focus on simplification.
- Demonstrated approach which is pragmatic, flexible, self-aware, and results driven.
- Experience working on large scale Government transformation programs with multiple vendors.
- Previous exposure to ITIL and IT Service Management.
- Degree qualifications and/or certifications in IT related disciplines.
- The candidate must state their agreement to have or obtain (at Bureau expense) a baseline security clearance and NV1 where required.
