What you'll work on:


The Test Automation Technology Manager leads a team of skilled Test Automation Engineers and Test Managers to provide design, development, testing and deployment of the Test Automation framework with a good understanding of the DevSecOps model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Technology leader to lead the Test Automation and management team to deliver leading-edge technology to customers.

  • Manage a team that is responsible for engineering, lifecycle, design, and producing HLD and E2E ownership on Test Automation and Test Management.

  • Have an excellent understanding of Test Automation framework architecture, interfaces and understanding of various protocols with an ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Advanced knowledge of testing and scripting development in Test Automation tools and being a key influencer of automation technologies.

  • Drive the team to meet deadlines set by management; prepare and take ownership, setting goals and working with team members to deliver.

  • Work with and coach teams, share knowledge and be a lead person in the Testing domain.

Experience and working knowledge of scripting, such as:

  • Python

  • Ansible

Experience in programming language and operating systems, such as:

  • Linux

  • Ansible, including development of playbooks and modules

  • Java

Experience in the use of test automation and CI tools, such as:

  • iTest

  • Selenium

  • Velocity/NetworkDevOpsAgent(NDA)

  • TOSCA

  • GitLab/GitHub

  • Visual Studio code

  • Jenkins

  • Docker

About You:

  • Australian citizenship and have current/or can hold a minimum NV1 clearance.

  • Proven substantial experience in the IT/ Network industry with Test experience in analysis, problem solving and leadership and a bachelor's degree in information technology or Engineering or similar disciplines.

  • Good working knowledge in Test Automation, DevSecOps model, Agile and Project Management.

  • Urge to learn new technologies with effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with key vendors in a collaborative and co-operative manner.

  • Ability to navigate through and influence internal and external stakeholders to build relationships and leverage them to drive outcomes.

  • Excellent active listening skills and high emotional intelligence

  • Be able to manage competing priorities and be able to rationalise work selection decisions within the context of business priorities.
