VMware Engineer | Federal Government Projects
Join a high-impact technology team supporting critical government infrastructure. We're seeking an experienced VMware Engineer to play a key role in the management and optimisation of both on-prem and cloud-based environments, including Azure and VMware Cloud Foundation.
THE ROLE:
- Administer and support Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Design and implement scalable Azure cloud solutions
- Monitor system performance and optimise resources for cost-efficiency
- Manage and troubleshoot VMware Cloud Foundation infrastructure
- Implement security, automation, and performance enhancements using tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Develop and maintain scripts (Bash, Python) for system automation
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and cross-functional team collaboration
LOOKING FOR:
- Solid experience in Windows Server, VMware, and Azure environments
- Familiarity with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Hands-on with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
- Strong problem-solving and incident resolution skills
- NV1 clearance
- Willingness to work on-call as needed and commit to a hybrid model (3 days onsite)
