Job Advertisement: Systems Analyst - Risk Transformation (GRC Implementation)
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in a major governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) transformation program? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Analyst to join an established risk transformation initiative in the Pacific market. You will be directly involved in the successful implementation of a cutting-edge GRC tool using ServiceNow.
Role Overview
As a Systems Analyst , you will:
Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for developers.
Elicit and document functional requirements, mapping current state processes and envisioning future state improvements.
Conduct gap analyses to understand the impact of changes to business-as-usual.
Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project.
Support solution validation, ensuring all delivered functionalities meet high standards before deployment.
Collaborate closely with development and testing squads to ensure successful transition from specification through to delivery.
Assist with user-centered design, testing activities (including triage and impact analysis), and change management, providing input to change impact assessments.
Take responsibility for high-quality documentation and proactive stakeholder engagement at all stages.
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated capability in multiple analysis methodologies, with exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).
Deep understanding of systems thinking: ability to see how people, processes, and technology come together.
Advanced business analysis skills, including planning, requirements management, analysis/design definition, and solution evaluation.
Comfortable with business analysis tools and technologies; creative problem-solver with strong adaptability.
Solid experience working autonomously and meeting deadlines in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Experience
5-10 years' experience as a Business Analyst, skilled at writing requirements and user stories.
Relevant tertiary accreditation.
Experience with the Superannuation or Financial Services sector is highly desirable.
Demonstrable involvement in implementing ServiceNow and delivering regulatory change.
Competence using collaboration and workflow tools such as Teams, JIRA, and Confluence.
Agile and Lean methodology expertise, with familiarity with waterfall project delivery.
Recognized business analysis certifications (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CSBA, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
