Technical Product Owner (Agile Delivery)
Locations: Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane (Adelaide considered for strong candidates)
Duration: 12 Months
Hybrid: Minimum 3 days/week in-office
Clearance: Must be eligible for AGSVA Baseline (existing clearance preferred)
About the Role
Join a dynamic Agile delivery team as a Technical Product Owner, leading the delivery of high-quality, scalable technical solutions. You'll own the backlog, shape the technical direction, and ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities in a SAFe-aligned environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prioritise and manage the team backlog (features, enablers, tech debt)
Write robust user/enabler stories with strong acceptance criteria
Collaborate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and Agile ceremonies
Ensure work meets both technical and business standards
Champion platform improvements and manage technical debt
What We're Looking For
✔ 5+ years' experience in Agile (SAFe/SCRUM) environments
✔ Strong system, API, integration, and data structure knowledge
✔ Excellent stakeholder communication and decision-making skills
✔ Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe POPM, CSPO) preferred
✔ Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
