Active Directory SME - NV2 Clearance Required
A Government Agency is seeking an experienced Active Directory Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the upgrade and modernization of Active Directory services. This role is ideal for professionals with a deep understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft technologies, and Azure AD who are ready to tackle complex technical challenges.
This position requires onsite work in Canberra, with flexible working arrangements (3 days in office + 2 days from home) available after initial onboarding. Please note that only Canberra-based candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and troubleshoot Active Directory services, including Microsoft Group Policy management.
- Implement and manage Azure AD and AD Connect.
- Oversee Active Directory permission delegation and role-based administration.
- Manage privileged access controls in a secure environment.
- Analyze and resolve complex hardware and software issues within enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate technical solutions.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Strong technical expertise in Active Directory, including Microsoft Group Policy management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including design, build, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Azure AD and AD Connect.
- Experience with Active Directory permission delegation and role-based administration.
- Ability to manage privileged access controls.
Desirable:
- Experience in managing risks and issues, along with devising mitigation strategies.
- High-level communication and documentation skills.
Additional Requirements:
- NV2 security clearance is required. Candidates without an existing NV2 clearance will not be considered.
- Availability to commence in late September 2024.
