Our client has one of the sophisticated technology environments and the finance to back them. The mature environment is second to none and will compliment your competitive skillset. We are looking for a skilled professional in the realm of Devops engineering. In short, we need a Devops Engineer with specialized knowledge in CICI, pipeline shell scripting and github.
Essential:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development, testing, and operations teams. Your primary objective will be to streamline the software delivery process, improve deployment, and enhance reliability.
The role's key objectives:
- Develop and maintain automated processes for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment
- Design Github branching strategies for applications
- Design and Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops
- Develop Shell Scripts for supporting the pipelines
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure pipelines are developed and integrated
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure DevOps pipelines
Desirable:
- Solid hands on experience with Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices related to DevOps and Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Github
Nice to have:
- Knowledge on Servicenow ITSM module
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and their integration with DevOps practices
