Role Outline
Are you a BI Developer that loves to sit with a business user, understand their requirements then develop unique and elegant BI solutions?
We are working with a large Australian insurer that is looking for a new Senior Business Intelligence Developer that will work across the business, customer and service provider platforms.
Located within the heart of Chatswood you will join a team that knows that data is the future.
Your key task will be to work with business users to gather their requirements, analysis of data and developing elegant BI solutions.
Skills and experience
- 7 - 10 + years Business Intelligence Development
- Advanced Power BI development skills
- Strong background with SQL or it's variants
- SSAS, SSIS and DAX expertise
- Data Warehouse design and development
- ETL and data management / manipulation
- Background in banking, finance or insurance would be beneficial
This is a dual focus role where you will be working closely with a variety of business users with varying understanding of what can be done with data. You will need to be comfortable working as a Business Analyst to understand their needs then develop the solutions they require.
