About the organisation and role:

A 6-month contract role with an Australian telco with offices in Macquarie Park and a hybrid in-office / WFH environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure digital products are accessible and designed with optimal usability for all people
  • Consult and recommend best practices by embracing the limitation of disability and drive to improve existing designs
  • Monitor quality and compliance to the Accessibility WCAG 2.1
  • Assess the severity of an accessibility problem by considering both compliance and the practical impact for people with a disability
  • Educate others to increase awareness of Inclusive Design principles

The successful candidate's CV will mention much of following skills and experience:

  • 4+ years of working within a Digital CX Design environment
  • International Association of Accessibility Professional Certification / Web & Digital Access Accreditation
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • High level understanding of SEM and SEO Usability Testing
