We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst with hands-on experience in operational Security Operations Centre (SOC) environments, a deep understanding of cyber threats, and strong technical expertise with modern SIEM platforms-especially Microsoft Sentinel.
About You
You'll bring:
Proven experience in an operational SOC environment with a solid grasp of incident response workflows.
Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel, including custom detection rules and analytics.
A strong working knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, Mitre ATT&CK, D3FEND).
The ability to develop documentation, streamline processes, and lead operational enhancements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following will set you apart:
Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Perl).
Familiarity with forensic tools and techniques (Wireshark, Autopsy, SANS SIFT).
Experience working with Linux/UNIX and Windows systems.
Knowledge of compliance and security standards like ACSC ISM, ISO27001, PCI DSS, or Information Standard 18.
Certifications (e.g., SANS, CISSP, Microsoft Security, Azure certifications).
Postgraduate qualifications in Cyber Security, ICT, or Information Systems.
