Job description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract for a brand-new system within the mining industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering project in its early stages, with potential for future expansion across other divisions if successful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with service providers and internal engineering teams to track and analyze performance and cost-efficiency metrics.
- Set up and maintain databases, including data modeling, stored procedures, and views.
- Create and manage Power BI dashboards to deliver key insights, ensuring they remain functional and accurate as the project scales.
- Utilize PowerApps, Power Automate Flow, Excel scripting, DAX, Power Query, and SQL Server to develop and fine-tune technical solutions.
- Fix bugs, make necessary technical changes, and ensure the smooth integration of new functionalities without disrupting current workflows.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in PowerApps, Power Automate Flow, Excel scripting, DAX, Power Query, Power BI, and SQL Server.
- Strong background in data modeling, stored procedures, and views.
- Solid programming skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a dynamic project environment.
- EPCM industry experience is highly desirable, with an understanding of engineering deliverables and cost management.
