Candidates must be Melbourne based (2 days from CBD office) - 12 months contract with likely extensions!
Work as a Data Centre Architect with a leading IT Consulting firm on an exciting long-term Melbourne based project.
Responsibilities and Skills required include:
- 5 to 8 years' experience in a similar role.
- Primary skill required: Cloud Infra Implementation > Data Center Facility Design.
- Secondary skills: Architecture > Performance Engineering > Data Center Orchestration & Provisioning.
- Experience on Windows Linux, hypervisor (VMware/Nutanix) Administration.
- Ability to provide and implement related architecture improvements, upgrades and stabilization.
- Knowledge of MS SQL (good to have).
- Experience on Patching and scripting. Knowledge of physical servers' products.
- Knowledge of MS DNS and DHCP and IP routing and Switching fundamentals.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills Diagnosis and Investigation of incidents.
- Communications with the customer during the Incident Management process.
