About the Company
Our client is a global consulting firm that has a number of clients across Natural Resources, Banking & Finance, Government sectors nationally. An exciting new project has cropped up within one such client based in Adelaide that require the specialist skills of Oracle Data Integration/ Oracle Warehouse Builder experts - our client is flexible on remote work as well as WFH options.
About the Role
You are a highly specialized on Oracle Data Integration / Oracle Warehouse Builder / Informatica with higher technical experience in DWH implementation to integrate (ideally) financial transactions from various source systems.
Working with the senior project manager, you will be required to have a strong knowledge and experience in ETL development and strong experience in data conversion and ODI Mapping and packages.
Your Experience
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts
- Ability to design ETL unit test cases and debug ETL mappings
- Knowledge of PL/SQL
- Knowledge of data modelling and ETL design
- Hands-on with end to end DWH implementation experience using ODI as ETL tool - Development experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of ODI Master and Work repositories.
- Design and develop complex ODI mappings, packages, procedures etc.
- Must be well versed and hands-on in using and customizing Knowledge Modules (KM)
- Setting up of topology and Model layer
- Building objects in Designer and monitoring Operator
- Experience of developing load plans and scheduling jobs.
- Experience of performance tuning of ODI mappings
- Ability to perform exception handling in ODI
- Exposure of working with various source systems such as flat files, excel, XMLs, JSON, Oracle database, SQL server database etc
