Role: Digital Director
Starts: June & July 2022

Paxus Recruitment is partnered with a niche Ecommerce Performance Marketing Agencies based close to Richmond / South Yarra Tram stops. They are looking for a Digital Director who has extensive experience with Digital Marketing ( Search , Social & Programmatic )

The Digital Director will work closely with the Head of Digital, working a lot on Client Management, Campaign Strategy & Planning, Technical Execution, Team Development, and being a part of the Leadership team.

The company has around 80+ people with offices across 2 states in Australia.

Role & Responsibilities

This role has 3 aspects to it

1. Team Leading

  • Leading a team to encourage input, ideas & innovation from all the team members.
  • Foster an environment that brings out the best in people and develops their knowledge, skills, capabilities, through ongoing learning.
  • Think critically to make decisions with confidence & purpose that reflects the need of both external & internal stakeholders.
  • Delivery of training and deployment processes across the Agency

2. Project Planning

  • Plan and develop campaigns and client roadmaps, with a thoughtful and measured approach.
  • Define and create opportunities that have a measurable impact and influence on the client's success metrics.
  • Contribute to new business acquisition through strategic advice and leading audits.
  • Create and deliver Search projects for the clients through clear direction, strategic planning, and technical brilliance.

3. Client Engagement

  • Work to build and maintain meaningful client relationships based on trust and understanding.
  • Proactively schedule, develop, and deliver client roadmaps on a quarterly basis.
  • Work closely with the clients to develop suitable recommendations, strategies, and solutions to technical challenges.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years experience in a Digital Marketing role within an agency environment.
  • Strong planning experience, and understanding of implementation buying principles across Performance Marketing channels
  • Ability to work with Directors & Managers to track and report on annual deals, and manage overall budgets and commitments.
  • Strong relationships with Digital Partners, Clients, and internal stakeholders, as well as the ability to manage a team.
  • Proven ability to develop and grow a strong book of business by identifying opportunities, understanding needs, educating and inspiring companies to work with the Agency
  • Proficient across digital marketing with a solid understanding of strategies and nomenclature.
  • Experience working with eCommerce clients; a plus
