There are 4 Parts to this role
1. Digital Marketing Channel Strategy
- Develop and implement multichannel marketing strategies across paid search, paid social, email marketing, and display ads, tailored to the retail industry.
- Plan and execute PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Bing to drive traffic to product listings and promotions.
- Leverage social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) to build brand awareness and engage with the target audience through organic and paid strategies.
- Email marketing campaigns that nurture customer relationships, boost sales, and engage with previous buyers for repeat purchases.
- Manage SEO and content marketing efforts to increase organic traffic, ensuring product descriptions, blogs, and landing pages are optimized.
2. Project Management
- Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
- Manage the digital marketing budget to maximize ROI on campaigns, allocate spending effectively, and adjust plans based on performance data.
- Coordinate the development of digital assets like product videos, banners, and social media creatives, working with designers and content creators.
- Monitor the marketing calendar, ensuring seasonal promotions, product launches, and sales events are executed properly across channels.
3. Digital Marketing Online Performance Analysis
- Track and analyze key performance metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, sales, and customer engagement across all digital channels.
- Monitor the competitive landscape to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities that can be leveraged in the company's digital strategy.
- Optimize campaigns based on data insights, adjusting strategies to improve performance and meet KPIs.
4. People Management
- Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists and channel managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, product development, and customer service to ensure marketing initiatives align with broader business objectives.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring they meet agreed-upon objectives and deliver high-quality service.
What we are looking for
- 7+ years of experience working in the Digital Marketing Ecosystem.
- Previous experience in an eCommerce or retail environment, to understand customer behaviour, seasonal trends, and product promotion strategies.
- Proficiency across multiple digital marketing channels like paid search (Google Ads, Bing), paid social (Facebook, Instagram), display ads, email marketing, and SEO.
- Strong understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or other platforms to track and report on campaign performance.
- Experience managing multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously across different channels, ensuring timely execution and quality.
- Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration, working with sales, product development, and external vendors to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Huge bonus if you have
- Familiarity with eCommerce-specific marketing tactics, such as abandoned cart emails, upselling, and cross-selling techniques to drive more conversions.
