About the role
This role oversees the architecture for the entire Digital Solution for this Company which is part of one of Australia's most iconic brands. It includes integration with Group Solutions. The role ensures that the current state is understood, a pragmatic medium term target state is defined and that relevant innovations are considered in the roadmap.
The role works with the Digital Leadership team to shape initiatives and then with Delivery Squads to ensure that each Release takes the solution towards the target state.
Duties
- Achieve the right balance between innovation, cost efficiency and reliability
- Provide thought-leadership during the shaping / feasibility process to ensure the optimal initiatives are prioritised and technology investments made
- Proactively resolve structural, cultural, process and organisational issues both within and outside of the team.
- Maintain a high level overview of the current and target state architectures
- Provide leadership through the matrix structure to assist in the creation and maintenance of a high performing team.
- Ensure that Delivery Squads pragmatically balance short term goals with longer term alignment with the target solution.
Skills & Experience
- Approximately 7 years' experience or more designing large scale E2E solutions.
- Over 3 years experience leading teams in an IT environment.
- 2 years experience in a consumer-facing Digital environment
- Proven Application Lifecycle Management,
- Excellent experience Agile delivery experience
