Job description

  • 12 month initial contract
  • Sydney CBD based - Hybrid (2days onsite, 3 days WFH)
  • Financial Services industry experience highly regarded
  • Level 3 support
    • Open ID Connect
    • SAML
    • OAuth
    • PING Products e.g. PING access
    • Hands on Java and nice to have CICD pipelines knowledge, not essential

As the Engineer you will provide the technical expertise and dedicated technical focus required to deliver on the organisation's next generation technology capabilities including data analytics, platform development, specialised application development, systems and processes. This role will operate predominantly in an Agile environment and such will be required to support the technology capabilities to effectively deliver value to customers.

What you will be doing...

- Design, configure and validate new and enhanced Systems needed to improve the flow solutions through the organisation's cycles
- Specify interfaces and translate logical designs into physical designs taking account target environment, performance & security requirements and existing systems
- Quick POC development for technical solution feasibility using prototyping tools where necessary
- Employ a variety of emerging languages and tools to marry systems together.
- Ensure that applications are developed with consistent maintainable code which supports risk and compliance management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of applications throughout lifecycle and provide technical input to the planning of future application and maintenance requirements
- Develop operational and system documentation to enable effective maintenance and support of applications
- Employ CI/CD and DevOps practices that are endorsed by Group Technology and ensure maximum leverage of existing platform services.

Skills/experience needed to be considered/secure this role:
- Proven related experience at an Enterprise level
- Demonstrated experience with an industry standard IAM platform
- Experience with systems development, support and maintenance with specialist knowledge in IAM
- Logical troubleshooting ability
- Experience collaborating and supporting others
- Advanced analysis, problem solving, troubleshooting and consultative skills
- Applied understanding of technical concepts of enterprise architecture and contemporary IT strategies
