Job description
A leading utilities provider is seeking to engage a GIS developer to join their team on a long-term contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the GIS project team, design, develop, build and document Web Applications and Web Maps using the ESRI Spatial product suite, including ARCGIS PRO (Version 2.5+), Esri Enterprise (Version 10.7+), Esri ARCGIS Insights, Esri Utility Network Model (UNM) and ARC GIS Online (AGOL)
- Utilising FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) design, develop, build and document data layers and information sets for use in portal Maps and Apps.
- Work with partner project teams implementing integrated systems (SAP, Power-on Advantage) to identify, develop and document information required to build, test and deploy data layers into Portal Applications.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work remotely utilising electronic communication tools including, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WEBEX, OneDrive, Remote Desktop Applications whilst delivering to delivery milestones.
Skills for success
- Demonstrated knowledge and significant skills in Esri ArcGIS Pro including Building reports, Spatial maps, Web Applications using multiple data sources
- ArcGIS Pro experise, including Cartography and Spatial analytics including ArcGIS Insights
- ESRI certification would be preferred
