About the role:

This position provides level 1 support and will handle:

  • Ticket prioritization and delegation
  • Diagnosing and analyzing IT related issues
  • The escalation of incidents to necessary level 2/team leader support
  • Using Service Desk systems to log tickets and incidents
  • Logging issues with partner, vendor and 2nd party organizations
  • Providing support to team leaders by maintaining and monitoring the networks/systems of customers
  • Involvement with Cloud IT and Telecommunications Solutions

You will be providing the first line of support to the companies valued customer and client base and will be an integral support system.

Skills and experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications including Windows 10, Office 2016 and 365.
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Server Applications including Server 2016/19 and Microsoft Active Directory.
    • Microsoft office 365 specifically the migration, support, and management
    • Server hardware and virtual environments
    • Networking technology such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing/subnetting and firewall technologies.
