Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in maintaining diverse IT infrastructures? We are seeking a talented Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our clients team. As an integral member of the IT department, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising our systems to ensure smooth operations and support our organisation's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support and maintenance for Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Manage and troubleshoot VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere and vCenter.
- Administer Active Directory services, including user and group management, Group Policy, and domain controller management.
- Oversee general networking and WAN technologies to ensure efficient and secure data transmission across our organisation.
- Utilize scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, to automate routine tasks and streamline processes.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Networking.
Experience:
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of VMware vitalisation technologies.
- Experience managing and maintaining Active Directory environments.
- Solid understanding of general networking concepts and WAN technologies.
- Proficient in scripting languages, with a focus on PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
