Job description

We are currently seeking multiple Business Analysts to work on a mutli year Cyber Security project for a Federal Government Department. You will have experience in IT or cyber security programs that required the interpretation of security operations and the changing of processes and technology to meet new capabilities.

The role will perform business analysis and process review to identify and develop business and functional requirements specifications. Business Analysts may be allocated to other projects as required to support ad-hoc analysis or process modelling tasks.

Location: Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne - **3 days required in the office per week**

Ability to obtain Baseline clearance required

Contract length: 12 months + 2x 12 months



Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience and skills in requirements elicitation and definition, business process reengineering and process mapping
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops
  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing and producing high quality documentation including requirements, guidelines, and operation procedures
  • Experience delivering multi-faceted artefacts for government programs and/or projects

Key requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in an IT Business Analyst role working in the IT and/or Cyber Security industry
  • Experience working in the Cyber Security field, with a strong understanding of the Australian Cyber Security Centre's (ACSCs) Information Security Manual (ISM), particularly the Essential 8 Mitigation Strategies
  • Experience working on Cyber Security (preferred) projects and in program management in multi IT vendor arrangements
  • Strong business stakeholder experience, particularly with cyber security, risk and compliance
