Job description

As a Deployment Technician, you will play a crucial role in deploying new laptops to staff, collecting old laptops, logging and maintaining deployment details in tracking apps, repairing new laptops for deployment, answering simple end user questions around devices, preparing new laptops for shipping to remote sites, preparing old laptops for collection by asset recovery services, laptop stock control and secure storage, and effectively communicating with customers and colleagues.

In order to secure this position, you need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in large deployments
  • Great customer service and a "Can Do" attitude
  • Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite, and friendly manner
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Customer service-oriented with attention to detail and methodical approach
  • Competent administrative skills

If you have previously done large deployments and you have good understanding of workstations, peripherals, printers, servers, networking, access methods, and mobile devices, excellent organisational and communication skills and you are a team player, willing, and eager to learn, then we would definitely love to hear from you now!
