Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer Support calls received from clients
  • Provide remote support to a variety of customer environments
  • Escalate support requests as necessary
  • Provide technical support on site when required.
  • Windows Desktop and Microsoft application support
  • Support Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange environments
  • Support remote desktop services and VMWare platforms
  • Provide technical support on site when required.
  • Escalate support requests as necessary
  • Provide remote support to a variety of customer environments
  • Windows Desktop and Microsoft application support
  • Support Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange environments
  • Support remote desktop services and VMWare platforms
  • Provide onsite technical support when needed
  • Assist Level 1 staff as required

  • Service awareness of an organisation's key IT services for which support is being provided.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Has an ability to prioritise requests based on their urgency and knows when to escalate an issue.

Technical Skills You Will Need

  • Previous experience in ICT support across multiple disciplines including desktop, network, telephony, printers, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, and O365 applications
  • Strong networking and virtualisation skills
  • Good knowledge of security, storage and backup systems
  • A logical thinker with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
