Job description

Great opportunity to join this leading Government agency as an Evidence Services Consultant, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of evidence analysis and review solutions, assisting Prosecutors in complex and document intensive matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Enabling litigation goals and outcomes by interrogating data to determine effective solutions and workflows, proactively offering solutions to improve review and analysis workflows throughout a case's lifecycle.
  • Juggling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, tracking delivery schedules, ensuring proper quality assurance, and manage changes in work scope.
  • Utilising analytical and judgement skills for remediation aberrations in the process, reporting outcomes and risks as required.
  • Building collaborative relationships with, and providing strategic and technical advice to, senior management, prosecutors, Agency employees and other key external stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and engage with Agency's staff in day‐to‐day activities including developing, coaching, and mentoring staff, providing timely and constructive feedback, and building commitment to shared goals.
  • Delivering educational sessions to legal teams both at a general level and within a matter.
  • Providing high level advice, reports, and business improvement recommendations.
  • Contributing to the development of strategies, new systems, procedures, policies, and practices addressing future Agency and stakeholder governance needs and emerging industry trends.

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and expertise in the relevant area of practice, including large volume Digital Litigation.
  • Extensive knowledge of the relevant legislative framework and related policies and processes.
  • Well-developed project management skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts and issues in a clear and concise way.
  • Ability to deal effectively with change, including the rapid embrace of new technology, and develop and implement collaborative solutions.
  • Ability to work under high pressure and be a strong linear thinker with an analytical or data-based mindset and excellent communication skills.
