Job description

This highly successful Infrastructure as a Service Provider offers a range of Infrastructure & Managed Services to its global user base.

Your new role will give you the ability to oversee the operational management and governance of major incidents and is also accountable for the Governance of the Problem Management Process.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and continuously improve the Incident and Major Incident Management process.
  • Ensure adequate resources and focus are provided to find swift resolution for major incidents.
  • Keeping the internal and external customers informed throughout the life cycle of the major incident.
  • Review and approve Major Incident Reports (MIR)
  • Reduce Major Incidents through problem management
  • Provide Post Incident Reviews and Route Cause Analysis reports
  • Own and continuously improve the Problem Management process
  • Conduct regular Operational Problem Management Meetings

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Problem & MIM within a large, complex IT environment.
  • Participate in a 24*7 MIM Roster.
  • Previous MSP Experience - Highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certified; Intermediate Operations Certification - desirable
  • IT Degree or Diploma - Desirable
