About the role:
NSW Government requires a technical architect to be part of a project team to deliver review and scope a complex, high value, and high-risk ICT platform to determine a program of work evaluating multiple agency networks for consolidation, remediation, upgrade, security improvements and access controls.
The role will include providing technical advice, carrying out implementations ,configuration, and installation of hardware with vendors and other technical resources involved with these projects.
About the Team:
You will be part of the program delivery network architecture teams.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience in large complex organisations - Previous NSW government agency experience will be highly regarded
- Sound understanding of complex networks and infrastructure configuration and deployment.
- Design knowledge network architecture with an ability to translate project-specific needs to network solutions.
- Has worked in network teams in complex environments
- Experience in Cisco SDWAN, ACI, Palo Alto, MS Teams, SASE products, AWS & Azure cloud networking
- Expert skills with dynamic routing protocols, such as BGP, in complex multi-AS environments
- Experience with enterprise applications architecture, including Application Delivery Controllers experience (F5, Netscaler)
- Experience needed with, operating systems, data management, network services, transaction processing, security, system, and network management
