About the Role:
As a Network Engineer specialist in BlueCat DDI, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimising core DDI services (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM).
Your work will be essential to ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient network performance.
You'll collaborate with network teams, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and play a key role in maintaining enterprise-grade infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage DNS servers, zones, and records using BlueCAT
- Maintain and optimize DHCP configurations and IP address assignments
- Conduct IPAM planning and address space management
- Integrate DDI services with wider network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot DNS/DHCP issues and ensure minimal downtime
- Apply security and compliance best practices (DNSSEC, DDoS protection, etc.)
- Maintain accurate documentation for all configurations and changes
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience managing DDI services, especially with BlueCAT
- Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM tools and protocols
- Experience in network integration and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of security best practices related to DDI
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in enterprise or large-scale network environments
Desirable:
- Certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA, BlueCAT Certified)
- Experience with DNSSEC, DDoS protection, and automation tools
- Exposure to hybrid or cloud-based environments
