Job description

The OCM Lead IS&T Transformation, is responsible for directing global end to end organisational change management delivery across the Transformation program, supporting the realisation of Transformations defined objectives and key results. This role forms part of Group Communications and reports to the Communications Business Partner IS&T.

A proven track record in leading global change management in a matrix environment, leadership and partnering capabilities with exposure to the resources industry are key differentiators.

List the key objectives and key results expected from the contractor:

  • Program organisational change management strategy and plan to drive and influence complex change management program
  • Working closely with Lead team, delivering, and coordinating all organisational change and operational readiness activities of the Transformation Program.
  • Identifying key business stakeholders within product group and functions by working in conjunction with the program owner
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders from a variety of product groups to ensure business impacts and concerns are well understood and plans developed to address these for successful implementation of several products
  • Manage and coordinate comms across the program to communicate product roadmaps, deployment to a business
  • Driving deployment and change adoption into the business
  • Closely collaborate with OCM teams from other related ongoing initiatives to develop centralised program view of change impacts and key stakeholders
  • Understand the current and desired mindsets of the organisation and its employees and address any gaps or barriers that may hinder the change process.
  • Design and implement change interventions that target both mindset and behaviour aspects and provide feedback and recognition to sustain the change.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for change, and help people overcome their fears and resistance.

Describe the qualifications and skills required to perform the work:

  • Demonstrated Minimum 7+ years' experience as an OCM on projects or programs.
  • With experience in global change impacts / global audiences
  • Prosci certification well regarded.
  • Experience delivering and integrating change on projects or programs using SaFE / agile delivery methodology.
  • Experience in delivering complex change projects with organisation wide impact, across multiple industries and different styles of change (e.g., technology, process re-design, restructuring etc).
  • Excellent planning and organising skills in managing and executing multiple concurrent workstreams of change with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of business outcomes.

  • Able to build effective working relationships with peers, vendors and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Proven leader with the ability to coach, motivate and influence team members from a wide variety of backgrounds to deliver high quality outcomes
