About the role:
We are looking for a seasoned Performance Optimization Engineer to join our team for a project-based position. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in continuous profiling methodologies and tools, particularly with a focus on leveraging eBPF technology and analyzing flamegraphs across interpreted and compiled languages. This role demands an individual capable of delving into performance challenges, pinpointing bottlenecks, and offering actionable solutions to enhance application efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- We are seeking candidates with robust expertise in database administration, cloud technologies, operating systems, and proficiency in utilizing performance profilers.
- Implement and oversee continuous profiling tools across diverse environments.
- Analyze performance metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks and inefficiencies in both compiled and interpreted languages.
- Generate and interpret flamegraphs to offer insights into application performance hurdles.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to propose and execute performance enhancements.
- Document performance analyses and suggest improvement strategies.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in performance optimization and continuous profiling.
