Job description


Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our team and work on developing high-quality applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, Symfony, and Elasticsearch, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications and search functionalities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP applications using the Symfony framework.
  • Integrate and optimize Elasticsearch for efficient search functionalities across our platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong understanding of the Symfony framework.
  • Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch is essential
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
