Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our team and work on developing high-quality applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, Symfony, and Elasticsearch, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications and search functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP applications using the Symfony framework.
- Integrate and optimize Elasticsearch for efficient search functionalities across our platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong understanding of the Symfony framework.
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch is essential
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
