Paxus is partnering with a national professional consultancy who specialize in delivering complex technical solutions across a range of IT disciplines. As a result of continuous growth and the onboarding of global industry leaders, an opportunity for a Presales Solution Architect has become available within their Brisbane office.
Role/Responsibilities
The core purpose of the Presales Solution Architect is to enable business growth by supporting a team of Business Development Managers in presales activities by understanding, documenting, and shaping solutions to client requirements. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Work with customers, understand requirements, develop solutions to real-world customer problems and produce tenders, proposals, bids, and quotes.
- Present proposed solutions to prospective clients with bid teams and participate in the opportunity qualification processes.
- Support presales activity for multiple opportunities concurrently.
- Maintain accurate and complete data within our opportunity management systems.
- Identify gaps in our solution offerings and develop new solution offerings to meet market needs in line with the strategy.
Skills/experience
- Previous consulting experience within a technical services environment
- You uncover the root causes of problems and the driving motivations of clients to form a deep and nuanced understanding of business needs.
- You translate client requirements into logical and scoped engagements, including advisory activities, technology solutions and delivery approaches understandable to humans.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- You have industry, advisory, and technology capability specialties that compliment your strong generalist foundation in solutioning and deal architecture.
