Northern Suburbs location - Initial contract until end of Sep with likely extensions!
Work as a Principal Open Space and Recreation Planner with an established organisation based out of Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.
Responsibilities and Skills required include:
- A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture, Open Space Planning, Urban Planning or related discipline.
- Ability to undertake investigative research, analyse complex information and form recommendations and/or policy.
- Substantial experience in policy, strategy, framework, and guideline development.
- Substantial experience in the development of masterplans which effectively and collectively considers and integrates a variety of land uses, functions and operations.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation, development, implementation, and management of implementation plans and renewal programs to support capital works delivery.
- Highly developed project management skills and demonstrated experience in managing projects including the capacity to set and achieve goals and objectives within timelines and budgets.
- Well-developed negotiation and advocacy skills and the ability to influence outcomes to achieve organisational objectives.
- Current Driver's Licence.
