The role:
As a Principal Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the initiation, planning and successful completion of ICT projects in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies. Potentially managing several in-flight projects simultaneously, you will deliver successful projects within agreed timeframes, budget, and quality standards.
You will ensure performance against project plans and budgets is met. Additionally, you will enable informed decision making on project issues by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations, and information papers for project stakeholders.

We are seeking candidates with high level leadership skills and the ability to translate business requirements into achievable deliverables. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- extensive experience in the delivery of IM/ICT projects, preferably in the health care industry.
- Project experience will be in large-scale, multi-year projects
- Your knowledge and expertise will come from working within a complex environment with large project budgets
You will be a specialist in the delivery of cyber security projects with experience across Firewall replacements and vulnerability management services
An understanding of the operational environment within hospitals and the role that ICT plays to support them is desirable. Proven experience in the implementation, configuration, testing and deployment of clinical applications and system integration in health care facilities will be highly regarded.
State-wide travel is a requirement of this role. A class C driver's license is essential.
