Job description

  • 6 month initial contract
  • Must be an Australian citizen
  • Must hold an active AGSVA Security Clearance
  • Must be able and willing to work onsite 5 days a week

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Consultant specialising in SAP HANA Application Security.

The successful candidate will be part of their dynamic team, working on complex projects to ensure robust security measures for our clients' SAP HANA environments.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level consulting services in the implementation, configuration, and management of SAP HANA Application Security.
  • Lead security assessments, risk identification, and mitigation strategies for SAP HANA systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops for clients and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in SAP HANA application security.
  • Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and processes related to SAP HANA security.
  • Participate in project bids and proposals, providing technical expertise and cost estimates.
  • Travel as required to client sites for on-site consultations and project implementations.

Required technical and professional expertise

  1. Proven experience as a consultant or similar role in SAP HANA Application Security.
  2. In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA system architecture, database security, and user authorization concepts.
  3. Expertise in implementing and managing security controls such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), and data encryption.
  4. Experience with SAP HANA security tools like SAP HANA Cockpit, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
  5. Strong understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
