Our client, an instrumental FMCG supplier to the Australian nation, is seeking a Product Manager/SME. Coupled with a supportive General Manager (Information Data) and the opportunity to work on enterprise technology, you will excel in this position!! This is a department to be involved in!
As a Product Manager specializing in Data and Looker, you'll be at the forefront of shaping their three-year product strategy and vision. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable plans, leveraging the power of data to inform every decision.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Your expertise in Looker will be instrumental in developing and optimizing our analytics capabilities, enabling stakeholders at all levels to access and interpret data with ease.
- Technical leadership; provide technical and product leadership to the group technology for the Looker platform.
- Best practices; define and promote best practices for Looker development, data modelling and dashboard creation
- Platform Management
- Performance and scalability; oversee performance tuning and optimising efforts to ensure Looker reports deliver
- Drive product initiatives from conception to launch, leveraging data-driven insights to prioritize features and enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and analytics teams to define product requirements and ensure successful execution.
- Whilst leading a team of 2-4, you will serve as the subject matter expert on Looker, architecting data models, building dashboards, and providing training and support to end-users.
- Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback, iterating and refining to deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to innovate and differentiate our product offerings.
Mandatory Skills:
- Looker experience: Google Looker, Look LM, Looker API, Looker Studio and Looker Administration.
- Familiarity with data modelling, SQL and visualisation tools
- Experience in roadmap, strategy, best practices, performance, and scalability of looker reports.
- Analytics experience
- Experience in leading a team of 2-4.
- Experience in looker API, Look ML, Looker Studio and Looker Administration
