Job description

Our Insurance and Superannuation client is embarking on an exciting growth journey that is set to double the current size of the fund. Approximately 850,000 members will be transferring into the client's umbrella in the first half of 2023.

The purpose of this role is to support the overarching transition project team to deliver the transfer safely. The Project Marketing Manager will represent the Marketing team within the complex project and will lead the relevant project streams.

The Project Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the successful transfer of members in the first half of 2023. You will be required to work across both organisations, advocate for the member experience, help facilitate the transformation of the organisation, develop strong and positive relationships with both the teams and deliver member-centric communications.

Knowledge and skills

Communications & copy-writing

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information in plain English.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm to ensure our communication is engaging.
  • Proficient project management skills and ability to work through peer review and compliance processes.
  • Attention to detail and analytic skills.
  • Significant experience in developing customer/member content
  • Strong copy writing, editing, proofing skills, as well as verbal communication skills

Project & process management

  • Ability to organise and track multiple projects to an agreed standard, deadline and budget
  • High standard of project management and time management skills

Education and experience

  • Bachelor degree (or higher) in journalism, marketing, communications or equivalent.
  • Degree qualified in marketing, you are a highly experienced (8+ years experience) with outstanding interpersonal, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience developing and implementing communications strategies.
  • Experience developing communications for one-to-one marketing and marketing automation.
  • Project experience within the superannuation industry, financial services or a heavily regulated industry.
