Job description
Our client, a NSW government department, requires a Corporate Records Assistant to join their team for a 5 month contract until 2025. You will be responsible for providing administrative services to maintain high quality administrative support and contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the Records and Information Management Team.
Key accountabilities:
- Deliver a wide range of administrative support functions including records management and data entry.
- Follow records management guidelines policy and procedures.
- Perform a range of file management functions to facilitate ingestion of metadata into the Digital Asset Management system.
- Use of systems and databases to support file management administration.
Key challenges
- Ensuring cataloguing meets specifications and standards appropriate for material being digitised.
- Working efficiently and accurately to maintain agreed outputs.
- Performing repetitive tasks that require a high level of attention and critical thinking.
The position holder must be able to work cooperatively and independently with minimal supervision and undertake manual handling tasks for files and archive boxes.
