Job description
As A Risk Manager, you will will lead the risk, assurance and project health of a diverse portfolio of 100+ projects, ensuring seamless operations and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate monthly risk workshops and quarterly assurance health checks
- Evaluate risks, opportunities, and conduct Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA)
- Collaborate with Project Managers on risk assessments and escalation
- Undertake quarterly health checks on risks, schedule, cost, and project data
- Develop monthly risk and compliance reports for Portfolio Managers
- Work closely with internal teams to minimise operational impact
Key Outcomes Expected:
- Monthly risk review sessions with all Project Managers
- Quarterly health checks completed
- Verification of Empower data for accurate project risk status
- Efficient records management of risk registers and database
- Collaboration with the Management of Change team for seamless risk impact integration
- Update project risk governance guidelines as required
- Collaborate with IS&T Project Risk team for common solutions across hubs
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ideally qualified in risk management or extensive experience in engineering/project functions
- Strong understanding of project risk management approach
- Proficient in risk workshop facilitation
- Exceptional ability to balance agendas and priorities
- Solution-oriented mindset, building bridges across teams
- Experience in related project functions like scheduling, cost management, procurement, and quality assurance.
