THE ROLE
Our State Government client is currently seeking an experienced Security Architect with proven expertise in developing and delivering complex security strategies across diverse technological landscapes. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical acumen with strategic vision, capable of architecting and implementing end-to-end security solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop comprehensive Enterprise Cyber Security architectural solutions aligned with Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential 8 and national cybersecurity frameworks.
- Lead enterprise-wide security transformation initiatives.
- Translate complex security requirements into actionable, implementable solutions.
- Solution Design and Delivery
- Compliance and risk management
- Develop and implement security strategies
- Stakeholder engagement and communication
DESIRABLE
- Proven track record in designing and implementing:
- Comprehensive security control frameworks
- Identity and access management solutions
- Privileged access management
- Data loss prevention strategies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced tertiary qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or equivalent professional domain.
- Highly regarded certifications, including but not limited to:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- TOGAF (Enterprise Architecture)
- Other advanced security and solution design certifications
