Job description

Join a leading QLD government department based in Brisbane CBD where you'll play a pivotal role in driving business process analysis, gathering requirements, and implementing solution designs. Working closely with stakeholders from various agencies, you'll shape process diagrams to align with Business Process Management Notation (BPMN). Your expertise will be instrumental in providing advice, leading workshops, and representing the department in stakeholder consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the capture and development of business and solution requirements.
  • Collaborate within an Agile framework to craft clear, testable requirements.
  • Create and analyse process diagrams in accordance with BPMN standards.
  • Provide vital support through Business Impact Assessments.
  • Offer expert guidance on project artefacts like functional requirements and test scenarios.
  • Act as a liaison, representing the department in consultations with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to project delivery by actively participating in planning sessions and stakeholder workshops.

About You:

  • Proven ability in capturing and analysing business requirements within a government setting.
  • Proficiency in Agile iteration/sprint cycles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, preferably PRINCE2 and Agile.
  • Advanced proficiency with BPMN software and drawing tools.
  • Exposure to business reform/transformation projects within QLD Government
  • Must be based in Brisbane
