Job description

Our client is looking for a new Senior Business Analyst to join their team.

As Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis and review of current registry business processes primarily within the Civil, Administrative and Disciplinary Division (CAD), with connections to the Human Rights Division (HuRD), and propose innovative and streamlined registry business processes and practice. Furthermore, you will lead the implementation of streamlined registry business processes and practice.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the development and analysis of business process diagrams using Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) and narratives to inform improvements.
  • Contribute to the delivery of registry business process reviews by effectively participating in planning sessions, team meetings and lead facilitation of stakeholder workshops.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and Courts and Tribunal Digitisation Program project team members to ensure business process and practice improvements are aligned to future digitisation.
  • Facilitate workshops and consult with subject matter experts to elicit business process and practice improvements.
  • Elicit and document process models, detailing current state processes and developing and proposing future state processes.
  • Collaborate with the change management team to analyse, identify and document change impacts and mitigations.
  • Lead the implementation of business process and practice improvement including user acceptance testing activity and documenting the results of user acceptance testing.
  • Identify issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.

  • Familiarity with large, highly regulated workplaces to enable effective navigation of complex regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to utilise existing registry experience to understand internal processes and how they compare with external best practice to improve service delivery.
  • Exhibit self-awareness and pursue personal growth, with proven experience in embracing collaboration.
