Help lead the enterprise-wide adoption of data governance at one of NSW's most critical public organisations.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how data governance is understood, embraced, and embedded across an entire organisation. You'll be the face of a data quality and governance uplift - working closely with business units to promote best practices, drive Collibra adoption, and support the rollout of an enterprise-wide data platform
What You'll Be Doing:
- Champion the adoption of Collibra and the Data Quality Framework across diverse business units
- Run workshops, deliver training sessions, and engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Provide practical guidance and support to business data stewards, owners, and SMEs
- Collaborate with platform SMEs (already on the team) to ensure adoption strategies align with technical implementation
- Promote a culture of data stewardship and quality through coaching, communication, and enablement
- Support the broader Data Management team in maturing the organisation's data governance model
What We're Looking For:
- A natural communicator and workshop facilitator who can bring governance to life for business stakeholders
- Proven experience rolling out, promoting and driving adoption of data governance or data quality frameworks and platforms in large organisations
- Experience working with Collibra is a must
- Experience working with DQ tools like Atacamma one is highly desirable
- Experience working in Agile environments and comfortable navigating large, matrixed orgs
- Public sector experience is a bonus - but a strong ability to influence non-technical teams is essential
