Job description

Role Overview: As a Senior Developer (Frontend), you will work with a high degree of autonomy, providing top-tier services to stakeholders. You'll lead the development of frontend components and services, drive continuous improvement in development practices, and ensure quality assurance for junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:

  • Lead the development and testing of frontend components and services.
  • Enhance operational effectiveness by developing, reviewing, and transforming technical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with staff to meet enterprise-wide requirements.
  • Engage in quality planning and standardize the usage of technology platforms.
  • Lead and collaborate on projects, providing support and mentorship to junior staff.

Product Support:

  • Continuously improve supported products and manage tasks related to product testing.
  • Implement strategies around the software development lifecycle and contemporary technologies.
  • Ensure the successful operation of supported products and resolve issues in collaboration with stakeholders.

User Support:

  • Offer expert guidance on the effective use of supported products.
  • Act as a responsive escalation point for key stakeholders.
  • Provide effective training and manage incoming work within the team.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical designs.
  • Share knowledge and experience with team members and stakeholders.

Knowledge and Experience:

  1. Demonstrated frontend development experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (e.g., Angular, React, and Vue.js) and familiarity with web standards.
  2. Must have experience in Adobe Experience Cloud products (e.g., AEM) and design system tools (e.g., Figma, ZeroHeight, and StoryBook).
  3. Demonstrated experience in responsive and user-centric designs with knowledge of accessibility standards (AA+).
  4. Demonstrated experience in Application Programming Interfaces and system integration capabilities for connecting and working with systems or services.
  5. Experience in version control (Git); command line and package managers; containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift).
