About the role

This role is part of their Infrastructure team where you will be a Senior Help desk / Support Analyst providing L2 & L3 support and will involve managing day to day issues via ticketing system at a senior level, providing network & infrastructure support to the organisation and resolving more technical issues escalated from the Help desk Analysts.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • At least 2 year's experience in a commercial environment in a similar role mainly L2 and L3 support.
  • Very strong Windows support experience - ideally including Windows Servers.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge and experience of Network technologies would help - ideally the newer techs like Aruba would be beneficial but any network tech acceptable.
  • Any experience working with Backup Systems (Comm vault ideally, but Veeam also acceptable) - knowledge of how to do restores and experience working with vendors to raise tickets highly regarded.
  • Experience in managing virtual environments - VMWare skills highly regarded
  • Experience providing troubleshooting for issues and outages and ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
  • Excellent communication skills.
