New contract opportunity available for an experienced Senior Integration Specialist. This is a 6-month contract with the option to extend for 6 months and will be based in Newstead, Brisbane + WFH flexibility.
As the Senior Integration Specialist, you will provide a high degree of technical and analytical assistance in the identification of opportunities and solutions to system integration problems.You will also be responsible for delivering business solutions involving information technology that satisfies agreed customer requirements. A detailed level of knowledge and experience in system and application integration is required.
You will be requested to perform both Operation and Project duties. You will be responsible for the operations and stability of the integration platform. Additionally, you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of solutions using chosen software on integration related projects
About the role
- Drive innovation across the integration solution, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on customer experience and shorter development cycles
- Embrace, adopt and adapt to all technologies that are utilised in the integration footprint
- Lead problem investigation through to resolution by applying a high level of detailed technical knowledge to effectively analyse and resolve problems.
- Initiate and participate in system changes and upgrades in response to platform, project or business requirements, in line with agreed processes and practices.
- Negotiate with customers and stakeholders on the provision of services and/or information and provide updates on incidents, problems, or changes.
- Lead the development and execution of regular system maintenance activities in line with corporate standards.
- Participate in business continuity practices in response to platform, project or business requests.
- Makes recommendations that are technically and commercially accurate and feasible for platforms, projects (or the customer) based on high level of technical expertise to inform estimation, scope and deliverables.
- Proactively provide training, technical assistance, direction or mentoring to peers and system users
- Perform operational duties and be responsible for the operations and stability of the integration platform and services for both production and non-production environments to an agreed level of customer satisfaction and service quality.
About you
- Degree qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; or equivalent industry experience and demonstrated competence appropriate to the position
- Highly specialised knowledge of Oracle and SAP Integration stacks along with accompanying software.
- Detailed level of knowledge and experience in system and application integration
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of ITSM principles
- High level knowledge and understanding of current methodologies, practices and principles while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience in managing change, resolving conflicts and analytically assessing risks to ensure operational outcomes are met and deliver positive business outcomes
- Proven ability to engage at all levels and exercise critical thinking in a complex environment and effectively communicate, negotiate and influence within a dynamic and sensitive multi-business environment
