A leading State Government Client based in North Sydney area is looking for a Technical Project Manager. Initial 12 months contract role. APPLY NOW!!!

About the role:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the risk, quality and progress of medium to complex and/or large ICT/digital projects to organisational standards, and ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope, and provides leadership and guidance to the Project Management team.

All project activities must align with the organisation's strategic plan, ICT operational processes and sector and NSW Government policies.

To be successful for the role, one must have experience in:

  • Delivering technical capability to external customers/stakeholders.

  • Providing leadership and direction to project team/s to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes of the project and ensuring continuous effective service delivery and a performance-based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer-focussed work culture.

  • Leading and managing the planning and delivery of ICT/digital projects, including all aspects of the project management lifecycle (business cases, project plans, identification and allocation of resources, budgets, communication and reporting) to ensure successful and quality project deliverables.

  • Developing strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures.
  • Managing and developing stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management, whilst fostering and sustaining strategic partnerships across teams.
  • Providing expert advice about the feasibility and suitability of proposed solutions to optimise business performance.
