Job title: Senior Salesforce Administrator (2 Positions Available)
Location: ACT or VIC
Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
Citizenship: Australian Citizens with ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for 1 x 12-month extension)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Join a high-impact digital transformation program within a Federal Government agency dedicated to improving the lives of Australians through cloud-based solutions. We are seeking two experienced Senior Salesforce Administrators to support environment management and system administration within a complex, enterprise-level Salesforce ecosystem.

You'll be part of a dynamic team driving continuous delivery and improvement across major projects leveraging the Salesforce platform.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain environment management plans for Salesforce platforms.

  • Execute advanced Salesforce administration tasks supporting CI/CD, releases, and new initiatives.

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance environment management.

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts, working with internal teams and vendor partners.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation on environments, processes, policies, and configurations.

  • Manage Salesforce support tickets and platform security.

  • Monitor new Salesforce releases and assess impact on platform users.

  • Mentor team members and assign tasks within the environment team.

  • Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, BAs, project managers, and cybersecurity teams.



To be considered for this role you must have:

  1. Salesforce Certification - Certified Salesforce Administrator with at least 2 years of experience.

  2. Strong understanding of Salesforce security and sharing model (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, etc.).

  3. Experience using Data Loader, Service Cloud, and related Salesforce tools.

  4. Proven track record working in cross-functional teams and with vendor partners to resolve issues.

  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and quality.

  6. Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

  7. ITIL Foundation Certification and working knowledge of ITIL practices.

  8. Experience with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.

  9. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  10. Passion for and experience in accessible design and development practices.
