Job Title: Tandem/HP Non-Stop Systems Specialist
Location: Anywhere in Australia or New Zealand (Must be available to work NZ business hours)
On-call support required
As a Tandem/HP Non-Stop Systems Specialist, you'll be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Tandem system products. Your role will include supporting high-availability environments, managing incidents and changes, and participating in on-call rosters to provide after-hours support. This position plays a crucial role in supporting critical applications including payment gateways and ATM networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain HP Non-Stop system products following standard practices and policies.
Perform system administration, configuration management, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
Conduct problem determination, root cause analysis, and timely resolution of technical issues.
Apply approved system changes and manage compliance tasks in line with policy.
Ensure alignment with SLAs and provide regular reporting to management and project teams.
Participate in an on-call roster and respond to Severity 1 incidents as per defined SLAs.
Collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed teams and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Technical Skills & Experience:
Minimum 10 years' experience in Tandem/HP Non-Stop Systems Administration within large, complex enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of DSM/SCM, HSM Security.
Familiarity with Base24 Classic, payment gateways, ATM networks, and associated security.
Proficient in Shell (TACL) scripting.
Experience working across remote, distributed teams is advantageous.
Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related IT discipline is desirable but not essential.
