Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior Servicenow &Aurion Business Analyst to join their team. This is a 3 months contracting role. This role is open to only ACT. There is a Hybrid working option. This role is open to Australia Citizens with the ability to obtain Baseline Clearance.

To be successful in the role you must:
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple business units (Finance, Security, Regulation, Search and Rescue, HR, etc.) to elicit, document, and analyse business and technical requirements.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with both business and technical teams to identify, document, and resolve issues.
- Author and update internal and external documentation, including business cases, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and gap analysis reports.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions to ensure clear alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Apply analytical rigour to investigate operational challenges and opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Manage requirements scope to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with organisational priorities through effective facilitation between business and IT.
- Perform system mapping and gap analysis between existing systems and future state requirements to determine viable solutions.
- Ensure all specifications are clear, concise, and robust, addressing business, data, and integration needs.
To be considered for this you must have:
- Prior experience working in government is highly desirable our client is looking for an excellent cultural fit
